Now pray with your heart and voice to the Lord!
Father in heaven,
today I thank You for Your great goodness to me.
Thank You for granting me
the ability to reverence You.
Thank You for granting me
the will to trust in You and not be embarrassed
by the ridicule of those around me who choose not to trust in You.
Thank You most of all,
for hiding me in the secret place of Your presence
when evil people wish to do me harm.
Thank You for Your loving protection of me today,
from those who wish to speak evil against my life.
Today I call on You, my Father in heaven,
because You assess my situation with complete justice.
Help me to bring my lifestyle into alignment with Your commands.
Lord, I bow in reverence to You today,
